Grand Cru & Valley Views

The North Coast Wine Country begins in Cloverdale on Highway 101 and winds over Highway 128 to Boonville. This little town of approximately 750 people has a supermarket, four restaurants, and is the headquarters of the Anderson Valley Volunteer Fire Department and Ambulance Service. CalStar Air Ambulance services the entire area. From the air on a clear day — and there are many — you can see the coastal range and the ocean beyond. Navarro River State Beach, about 45 minutes from Boonville, is a broad, sandy river estuary beach with great sunset views.
Stop for a coffee at Mosswood Market for great lattes and the best lemon scones and bread on the planet. The locals gather here in the morning. Or, spend some time in All That Good Stuff or Rookie Too — great locally-owned gift shops with unique merchandise.
The Boonville Hotel offers fine dining and hosts the Farmers Market every Saturday from 9:45am to noon between May and October.
Boont Berry Farm offers organic produce and products and tempting homemade sandwiches and bakery fare.
